Customer satisfaction is URDAN's top priority.

To achieve this goal, maximum efforts are made throughout all production stages.

Our most stringent quality system assures high-quality products which perform as required in such hostile environments as the Dead Sea Works, acid production, furnaces and kilns, operational combat vehicles and other applications.

We select and adapt materials to meet the customer's specifications. Products are designed to meet the customer's requirements.

All our cast materials comply with international standards such as EN, ASTM, MIL, BS, DIN, JIS and other standards. Special and tailor made steels and cast irons are available upon request.

We perform the following tests and examinations on incoming materials, during processing and at the final stage of production:

Facilities

Chemical Analysis:

Chemical analysis - Computerized spark spectrometer,

analyzing up to 38 elements

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile and yield strengths, elongation and reduction of area.

Charpy impact test at ambient and low temperatures  (-60°C).

Hardness testing - Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers,

with laboratory and portable testers.

Non-destructive Testing:

Radiography - X-Rays and Gamma Rays.

Magnetic particles.

Ultrasonic.

Dye penetrant systems.

Inspectors are certified to Levels II and III.

Layout Measurements:

Digital and fully computerized X.Y.Z. layout tables.

Physical and other Tests:

Metallographic laboratory

Hydrostatic testing

Failure analysis                                        

We can perform special and non-standard tests in accordance with the customer's requirements. We carry out tests according to international standards and

provide records of all tests and inspections upon request.
